In this classic Victorian thriller, which coined the concept of gaslighting, Jack Manningham is slowly, deliberately driving his wife, Bella, insane. He has almost succeeded when one foggy, winter night a stranger arrives who lays a trap for Manninghanm. Will it succeed and what becomes of Bella?
